About the Say Yes and Become Training Series:
One way we are all the same is that what we say yes to impacts what we come - too much cake makes too much me, too much negative and I become negative. God, in his kindness and grace, offered people two invitations when he created us.
His first invitation is to be his friend. “Come close to me,” he invites, “Let’s be connected in a personal and meaningful way. I made you to be my friend.”
His second invitation is to be his partner. God has much he wants done in this world and he has invited us, as his friends, to join him in the work he is doing.
“Come be my friend and come be my partner” are the two invitations from God that range throughout the entire Bible. On every page, in every story, God is continually inviting us to be his friend and be his partner. When we do, we become.
We become everything he intended for us to be. We become alive in every way he intended for us to be. We join him in a life of incredible significance and meaning. We get to love for God, speak for God, represent God, and be personally involved in his amazing rescue story.
Our Say YES and Become series is focused on saying YES to friendship with God and saying YES to partnership with him.
